Little Movers ‘Dancer of the Week’ – Autumn Term 1

Evie made lots of happy faces when she joined in.
Reggie loved joining in- great jumping!
Lenox was a fabulous dancer this week, we loved how he moved his hips from side to side.
Ivy joined in and loved playing the game ‘Hungry Hippo’s’
Iaarah loved Little Mover’s this week, joining in with all the races.
Libby was great at following the dance moves.

Autumn 2

Madison was best at ‘flossing’.
Reggie was our best dancer!
Amelia was great at twirling!
Joel smiled all the way through our session this week.
Leo joined in our new dance!

Spring 1

Leo loved using the parachute and joining in with the games.
Ada was great at moving like lots of different weathers.
Kobie was fantastic at joining in the actions of our songs.
Lyra grew in confidence, eventually joining in with our games and dance.
Navy loved her very first Little Mover’s session

Spring 2

Amelia was great at Irish Dancing.
Teddy was a great dance partner!

Each week the children start the Little Mover’s session with the same hello song which they follow the actions with Dawn. The session’s are made up of singing, dancing, developing skills, taking part in games and having fun!

We always end the session with the song ‘Shut up and dance with me’ when everyone takes their turn to show off their best dance moves

This week we played the game ‘Hungry Hippo’s’. We were all in a team and took turns to collect the balls, then we counted them to see which team had the most!

Our new dance! – Boom, boom shake the room!

This week we practiced our jumping skills. Michelle set up an assault course where we had to jump on the spots, weave through the cones then do 5 star jumps!

Jungle Week – We loved wearing the jungle animal masks! We played a game with Mr Crocodile – he bit our toes! Then we played a game based on “What’s the time Mr Wolf?” . We were great at counting the steps.
