Nursery children have been beginning their prayer journey by learning our school prayer. They learned how to make the sign of the cross and are beginning to join in with the words to our school prayer.

Year 1 Class Worship – God Loves and Cares for us

Reception children reflecting on our learning about remembrance day with a 2 minute silence to pray for the fallen soldiers.

Reception chose to respond to our Welcome unit by taking a trip to the church to talk about why the different symbolic features we have been learning about are important for a baptism.

Reception are gathering together to respond to the word of the Lord. We focused on our breathing, blowing out any worries and respecting silence and stillness. As we listened to the word we thought about how Jesus responded when the disciples said he was too busy to see the children. We talked about times where we have made a bad choice and forgotten to say sorry or ask for forgiveness. Going forth we are going to remember to walk in the footsteps of Jesus so that we may have life in all its fullness.
