This term in Reception, we are learning about people who help us. As our book focus this week is Mog and the V.E.T, a special visitor from Discovery Zoo came to out school with some animals. He talked to us about how to care for animals/pets, just like a vet would.

Focusing on ‘A Superhero Like You’ by Dr Ranj this week, we’ve been thinking about what we want to be when we grow up.

After reading out non-fiction fire fighters book we junk modelled our very own firetrucks.

Counting Carl our Maths puppet went missing from our Maths area. We turned our classroom into a crime scene and hunted for clues. We stuck ‘lost’ posters all over the school and asked pupils and staff if anyone could find him. After a whole week of searching we found him on number day hiding in the hall.
