September 2023 – The School Council met for the first time. We learned about our role as a school councillor and discussed how we thought we could help. Lots of us thought it was important to be representatives of our classmates and that we could be involved in helping to change things and make things happen.  We looked at how to hold meetings using an agenda, taking the minutes and listening to each others ideas.

October 24 – Children In Need – The School Council collected their classes donations and counted them. They then helped to cover Pudsey’s bandage with the money collected. In assembly, they announced how much each class donated and the magnificant amount raised for the charity.

Mother’s Day Raffle

The School Council sold raffle tickets to their classmates all week to raise money for Easter prizes and fun! Amount raised was £136. Year 4 raised the most amount of £37!! Well done to Aston from year 4 who won the prize for his Mam.

Lent

This Lent, instead of donating money, the school council chose to ask for donations for local charities. Hospitality and Hope and also Paws for Thought.
